A commercial quality gate latch that provides a positive deterrent to forced entry. A massive free spinning cylinder guard ring will withstand massive attempts to force cylinder. The cylinder recesses into the door to resist blows attempting to move the lock.

Construction Features:

  1. Mounting screws 8-32 X1 1/2" (Sgl cyl.)8-32 X 2" (Dbl cyl.)
  2. 2 1/2" dia. tapered cylinder guard and solid metal insert, turns free with any removal attempt.
  3. 2 1/2" dia. tapered cylinder guard and solid metal insert, turns free with any removal attempt.
  4. One-piece solid brass housing for extra strength.
  5. Handened steel tail piece.
  6. Pick resistant solid brass 6 pin tumbler plug.
  7. Nickel plated brass keys.
  8. Sturdy, all steel latch case and mechanism.
  9. Full 1/2" throw deadbolt.
  10. Latch and strike screws are 8-32x1" combination wood/machine for applications on wood, metal or fiberglass doors and frames.
  11. Strike.

  • Keyway - 6 pin high security "C" keyway and kwikset KW keyway.
  • Bore Diameter - 1" for latch. 2 1/8" for lock housing.
  • Interchangeable core - Interchangeable core locks will accept compatible 6 or 7 pin cores with BEST, FALCON, and ARROW. Add "IC" before part number.
  • Face Plate - Standard 2-1/4" x 1" packed with 1/8" filler for 1-1/8" width.
  • Extra security 1/2" deadlatch.
  • Cylinder guard ring. Solid brass cylinder and massive free spinning.
  • Packaging Includes:
    • Standard 2 3/8" backset or 2 3/4". Specify backset. For 2 3/4" suffix 234 at end of part #.
    • Standard "C" 6 pin cylinder or Kwikset KW keyway prefix KW before part#
    • Latch bolt size: 1" x 2 1/4". Latch front adapter is supplied in packaging to convert 1" faceplate for 1 1/8" wide door preparations.
    • Strike: 1 1/8" x 2 3/4".
